Sox pick up Martinez, Kotchman at deadline

Victor Martinez is batting .284 with 15 homers and 67 RBIs in 2009.

Boston has completed a deal for catcher/first baseman Victor Martinez, sending three young pitchers -- Justin Masterson, Nick Hagadone and Bryan Price -- to the Cleveland Indians. The Red Sox also swapped first basemen with the Braves, getting Casey Kotchman for Adam LaRoche and cash considerations. LaRoche had been acquired by the Red Sox from the Pirates on July 22.

Martinez, a three-time AL All-Star, is hitting .284 (107-377) with 21 doubles, 1 triple, 15 home runs and 67 RBI in 99 games so far in 2009. Martinez will wear number 41 for the Red Sox.

Kotchman, 26, was acquired by Atlanta on July 28, 2008, along with RHP Steve Marek in exchange for 1B Mark Teixeira. In 43 games last year, he hit .237 with two home runs and 20 runs batted in. In 87 games this season, he hit .282 with six home runs and 41 runs batted in.

不只封面特別的像日本的座敷娃娃，

樂團本身來自南非也非常特殊，

而低沈的嗓音是我喜歡他們的理由，

breakdown這首歌很棒！

突然覺得Kings of Leon的歌滿好聽的

今天無聊沒事打開我的itunes，
去store看排行榜有什麼新歌可以聽，
第一名仍然是black eyed peas（黑眼豆豆）的i gotta feeling，
這首歌是很好聽沒錯，
不過讓我注意的是第二名kings of leon的use somebody，
原來這首歌我早就有了，
上wiki查了一下，
他們是由4個姓Followill組成的band（3個兄弟+1個親戚），
原本在美國沒什麼名氣，
後來從英國開始走紅，
更在上次葛萊美獎靠著sex on fire這首歌拿下最佳搖滾樂團
（不過這首我覺得還好，明明就use somebody比較好聽啊）
